What’s the difference between headshots and portraits? That’s a good question and we’ll spare you the nitty gritty of delving into the different types of portrait sessions.
But basically, a headshots is a type of portrait.

Many people need professional headshots for their company’s website, or a new business they’re launching. (As well as photos/videos of them in action at work - all of which we do. Promo videos for businesses is one of our very favourite types of work.)
But portraits, as a category, is broader. It can encompass engagement photos, wedding portraits, portraits of someone with their dog or family.
Sometimes people want/need straightforward headshots for their business. And you can never go wrong with this! But if you want to have a more creative headshots session that lets in a bit more of your personality or showcases you in different sorts of lights, that’s great too. When you message us to book in your headshot session, let us know your vision and we’ll bring it to light.
