Happy Birthdayyyyyyy, Daddy.

It's another year and another birthday for one of my favorite humans on the planet.

There are SO MANY things we love about Daddy so here are a few, in no particular order:

1. He is VERY level-headed.

2. He is WISE.

3. He is kind.

4. He is a good listener.

5. He is crazy generous.

6. He is HILARIOUS.

7. He is a hard-worker.

8. He is  smart.

9. He's getting adorably sentimental the older he gets. (This is one of my highlights.)

10. He has a distinct sense of personal fashion.

11. He is undemanding.

12. He is a good dad.

Dadddyyyyyy. I love you, and I'm grateful for another year of your life. xoxox.

Pops, Popsy, it's here, hurray! Today, today-your birthday!

And we three, just want to say

that we all hope you are happy, happy on this day.

We wish that we were with you

to celebrate with smiles and so much cheer

(for to us you are very dear).

But since we aren't, just a few lines

to say how dearly we do love you.

We don't say it enough, but it's oh-so-true.

We love your sense of humor.

We love your sage advice.

We love your serene ways.

We love your exclamations.

And all the quiet ways you show us you love us.

We love your generosity.

And your mustache.

We love all the quirky bits of you (like wearing the same brand/style of shoes for years on end.)

We love what a great son you are to all your parents-here and gone.

We love, in short, YOU.
