We love creative photo sessions like this in our photography studio where we we can play around with taking fun and creative images. Commercial photography is extra fun when it involves ice cream - and such cute models.

It's hard to describe the feelings that come with a request to document a birth. To be invited into such an intimate time is so humbling...and excessively exciting.
It's obviously ridiculous to say that I felt the waiting period as much as Baby E's parents did, but I was obsessive about checking my phone and planning my life around his pending arrival. Through the weeks leading up to the birth, mother Steph and I formed quite a bond through our copious communications. She's a gem and everything about my time with this sweet family has been a gift.
In short, documenting Baby E's welcome into the world was wonderful, a highlight of my summer.
He is perfect and oh-so-loved.
