I (Jonathan) drove up to Muskoka on a Sunday afternoon in earlier in August and Mike's dad met me to boat me out to the island (see below) where I'd be waiting with a long lens to document Mike popping the question.
Clearly, it took a lot of coordination, but Mike was all about the details and he pulled it off without a hitch.
Miriya was surprised, she said YES, and they lived happily ever after.
