We've taken no less than half a dozen trips between our two studios today.
We know it will eventually all be better, but in the meantime...where's my beer?
So tonight, on the eve of turning in our keys and officially walking away, we have a few thoughts on what this space has been to us over the last two years.
It's been a space of creativity. We shared an office space with Paul of Photohouse Studio and Christine who runs Heritage Health, but bleeds art. We had so many lovely discussions and sharings over the last 24 months with these two like-minded souls.
It's been a season of growing. Over the last two years, we've had four interns (turned away a few more because we're currently not in a place to teach or mentor anyone) and our business has grown by more than 30%.
It's been a time of gratitude. We continue to be so thankful that all our years and hours of hard work continue to grant us a profession where we can truly do what we love and work together.
It's been a place of connecting. We've been able to meet with so many of our couples and families between those four walls. We've heard love stories, documented expecting mothers and new babies.
It's been two years of learning, and more importantly, of living. We estimate we've spent a cumulative of 3500 hours at the photo studio. (But who, really, is counting.)
More, more photos coming soon - hopefully with things looking a bit more in order, but no promises.
We'll keep you posted. Thanks for following this journey with us.
xo.
p.s. We also got our house keys a year ago tomorrow. More on this mush cometh.
