Brantford Photography Studio//Boudoir (Part 1)

I (Layne) love boudoir sessions. I love documenting beauty; I love helping girls feel pretty. While there are many approaches to shooting a boudoir session, when gals come to my studio, I focus on three things:

- Classy

- Timeless

- Cozy

- Fun

Oh yeah, and sexy too.

Making the ladies who entrust me with documenting them in such a vulnerable way is something I do not take lightly. I want all my girls to feel comfortable and at ease which is easier said than done as we start taking off a few layers.

And that's another thing: I shoot boudoir differently than a lot of photographers I know. I like big cozy socks, oversized shirts and robes too. You don't have to be naked to be fully beautiful and I want to work with you to take photos that reflect your beauty.

I don't usually share boudoir photos, but R agreed to let me share a few from our session.

Brantford Photo Studio

I had soooooo much fun in the studio with Brandy, Mike, Audrey and their baby bump for their family maternity session last weekend.

Brandy has impeccable taste and figured out the intricate details of their shoot before they even showed up.

And thank goodness!

I couldn't believe she is nine months pregnant, and she still looks incredible. It was the first shoot I've done in our new studio (post on this coming soon), and it was the best way to leap into shoots here - family, laughter and new life.
