Did we mention we love taking photos of food? We love eating food, cooking food, enjoying food other people have prepared…and there is something so creative and inspiring about taking photos of a beautiful dish of food.

Spencer’s at the Waterfront has a delectable menu and we were so honoured to be able to take photos of their wedding menu.

Elora Mill//Editorial Shoot

Okay, I know we’ve been saying this for months (a year? since Laynie started grad school?) but we really, REALLY want to get caught up on sharing some shoots we’ve done over the last year.

We’ll start with this photo shoot from this past fall at the lovely Elora Mill. (Appropriate since it is cold and raining here today.)

We love so much about working with Pearle Hospitality - mostly the people, but also the attention to detail and gorgeous venues. And we LOVE doing editorial/commercial shoots like this. It’s a different pace of shooting, but pushes us to be creative and think differently than (for example) a headshot session would. And we love all their venues, but there’s something extra special for us about Elora - probably because we were able to take photos of the restoration process so it holds its own place in our heart.
