Some Gals Have Their Purses.....

I have my handy cargo pockets, compliments of this fine coat and JG himself-just a little Christmas love y'all.

But let's be realistic, as a fashionable soul, I know what you are all thinking: the cargo look went out in the mid-90s.

I'm here to tell you it is making a comeback and that I for one am embracing it for all its worth. I will expound on the cargo beauties until you are all digging through your closets at your parents' house, trying to find the last remaining shred of cargo-ness left in your life.

The merits of The Cargo are as follows: The Cargo is spacious, stylish and has plenty of room for all the love you want to give it/them.

Just today, I dumped out my coat pockets to find a myriad of surprises from these sweet depths.

I was greeted with chocolates, keys, money and glasses galore. The tissues are an issue we'll address at another time.

So the next time you are shopping and wondering "what do I need?" or "what am I looking for today?"

Think Cargo.

Think Security.

Think Sublime.

Seeking Simplicity.

We value simplicity in almost every area of our lives-we want our lives to be full, yet meaningful. We talk about this a lot.

We may or may not have had a mini "conversation" earlier this week about the amount of stuff we have overflowing through all the crooks and crannies of our wee apartment. We take boxes out every few months, but somehow the stuff just keeps coming in. It's resilient like that I guess.

The thing is-we can always add more to our lives-more outings, more stuff, more TO DOs on our list.

But we know that more doesn't mean better, so to less we look.

And today our happy and meaningful day included Breakfast in bed. Hours of editing. Walk with tunes in the afternoon sun. Engagement pics with Melissa and Ray. Dinner with Paul and Steve.

It was beautiful and perfect.

Just the way we like it.
