Finland.
We are stoked to be in Turku, Finland this week to celebrate the wedding of Stephen and Helena.
{Meet Helena, she's a doll. Though she's up to her eyeballs in wedding details right now, she took tonight off to show us around.}
We rented a Smart car this week for all our adventure needs, including coffee stops at the gas station.

I met Brett over a decade ago, when I was just a chubby girl wearing overalls. We were both in uni-with little in common except our cameras and our insecurities about how to use them.
Somehow, despite all odds, we became good friends. Great friends, even.
He's up in Canada this week-our honoured guest speaker for the #2014rwt Track and we couldn't be leaving these guys in better hands. He'll kick them in the butts and leave them as better people all around.
He leaves us all as better people.

Through the years, seasons have come and seasons have gone, but always-sometimes in the background-there is this Brett, the Kentuckian.
We've been to workshops in eastern Kentucky together, to Sao Paulo, to Argentina, to horse races in Lexington and to a Christmas on the border of Ohio and Kentucky. Oh yeah-and there were those months we spent together in Michigan, documenting the summer away.
He's a good guy. A great guy, even.
He's taught me a lot-about loyalty, hard work, perseverance and laughing in the face of the odds.
We're still very different; I think maybe we always will be.
But I'll still love him like a brother and wish we lived just a few miles closer every single day.
