If you're anything like me, you've googled your name at least once. Though I am fully "Layne Beckner Grime" now, I will always be "Layne Beckner Greene" too...even if it fails to appear on any of my paperwork.
Imagine my delight and surprise to discover there is another Layne Greene in the world-one who also lives up here in The Great White North...one who may even be considered cooler than me.
Of course I wrote him, told him I'd looooooove to feature him and here we are.

What - New Album - Everywhere Around Here produced by Dale Murray, featuring appearances by Christina Martin and Fleur Mainville. The album was recorded with Alex Lank on Drums, Bryan MacDonald on Guitar, and Dale Murray on Bass/Guitar/Backup Vocals.

Why - This album has been something I’ve been working towards for years now. Working with Dale was everything I had hoped recording my first album would be. His studio is located in an amazingly scenic part of rural Nova Scotia that lends itself seamlessly to the creative process. The songs recorded were written over the course of almost 5 years, and were chosen out of a group of 20 songs that I had identified as candidates for the album.
