Guelph Engagement Session//Alex and Lisa

Alex and Lisa are such kind, wonderful humans - we felt immediately at home with them from the first time we hung out with them. We ate snacks and talked about life stuff for hours. When they messaged us about shooting their wedding next year, they said “Alex is finishing up a phD in parasitology and Lisa is finishing up her final year of vet school. [She specializes in chickens.] We live in Guelph and love archery and going for walks and being creative.”

We said, ‘Yes, please come hang out with us!’

In addition, they brought two Robert Munsch books for our little guy which was SO INCREDIBLY SWEET. We’re so grateful to be surrounded by such great people in our lives and are excited to document their wedding at the Ancaster Mill next year.

WE LOVE PAIGE AND JORDON. They are the kind of people that are incredibly inspiring to be around - kind, thoughtful, generous, hilarious, etc, etc, etc.

Plus, they are ridiculously responsible and hardworking (and way younger than us), which is super cool. We definitely look up to them and how they’re navigating their lives.

And they asked us to shoot their wedding last month at the Ancaster Mill - which was a huge honour. The photos speak for themselves and here are a few of our faves. You get the idea - the day was super fun and full of friends, family, and laughter - exactly as it should be.
