Dog-Eared Cafe//Riverside Reading Series

If you haven’t been to the Dog-Eared Cafe in Paris, Ontario, then you are missing out. It’s full of delicious drinks, gorgeous ambience, interesting people, and heaps of books for sale.

It’s basically our dream space.

We recently also discovered the Riverside Reading Series, a local literary community which is a space for local writers to engage and connect. The dream!

The Riverside Reading Series engages local writers and invites them to speak/share their work for up to fifteen minutes on the last Saturday of every month. The next gathering will be Saturday, March 25 at the Dog-Eared Cafe. Once the weather gets warmer, the event will move outdoors. We hope to see you there!

Reading List 2016

Dear Masses,

Happy end of 2016. (Gulp, how is that even possible?)

As you may or may not know, I love reading and have an annual reading contest with my sister Catherine.

She was a non-participant this year, but I'll share my list anyway. My goal is always to read 52 books (and if we want to count the number of times I read through the book I'm writing with my friend, Lindsay, then I may be right on the number this year. Just saying.)

Hope your holiday week is lovely.
